In answer to this call, the Diocese of Kalamazoo and the Catholic Information Center of SW Michigan have put together a plan for reviewing, clarifying and promoting the Catholic Church's teaching on authentic feminism. Elements of the plan include the following:
- Evenings of Reflection on the place of Women in God's Plan
- Discussion Groups on the apostolic letter "On the Dignity of Women"
- Diocesan-wide Catholic Women's Conference
We invite you to explore the elements of this plan and to participate. Through active involvement, we hope to advance a deeper understanding and appreciation of the holy and sublime dignity of all women, to generate renewed appreciation for the Church's wisdom, and to bring back into the Church those who have felt disenfranchised due to an unclear understanding of these matters.
The following titles address women's issues from the Catholic perspective. Feel free to browse.
