Discussion Groups will be starting in Fall 2008 to study John Paul II’s apostolic letter Mulieris Dignitatem (On the Dignity of Women). The teams will meet each week for 8 weeks. Through reading of the text, reading of scripture and Church teaching, prayer, discussion, and reflection, participants will explore the beauty and mystery of authentic femininity and work to live out their feminine vocation – their innate feminine genius – in their lives, their families, the Church, the workplace, and in society at large.
The study text is FAMILIA’S new formation program for women: "Created To Be Woman: Called to Authentic Feminism," based on Mulieris Dignitatem. The cost for joining a discussion group is $49 and includes the book: Created to Be Woman: Called to Authentic Feminism. Limited scholarships are available. Click here to purchase the study text and pay for registration.
Discussion groups will run at regional centers and at area parishes across the Diocese beginning in September.
